Outdoors

The gardens at Willow House have been carefully landscaped to provide real variation and different exploratory opportunities outdoors.

Each Room has direct indoor-outdoor access, providing the children with a wealth of areas in which to develop their imaginations, with a variety of adult-led and child-initiated learning spaces.

We place great emphasis on Outdoor Play, and the learning that can occur there, and truly believe that all activities should be easily transferable indoors and out.

THE GARDEN: The children  all benefit from our all-weather garden, with sand and water play areas in which to let their imaginations run wild.

FRONT PLAYGROUND: We will shortly get Gates to the Front Playground will be closed each morning (9.30am – 12.30pm) and afternoon (2pm – 3pm) in order for the children to run and play on their ride-on bikes and trikes.  They will have their own resource shed, in which to keep a vast array of different outside toys to give the children new experiences each day.
