Rachel is Executive Head Teacher of the Woodlands Nursery Group – focussing on HR, Staff Performance, Training, Quality and New Initiatives.
Rachel graduated from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne with a First Class Honours Degree in Business and Management, and moved to London to work for five years at Sky Sports. She later joined the Oak House Nursery School team where she completed her CYPW Diploma and gained her Early Years Professional Status (EYPS).
In 2013, Rachel and her husband, Oliver, (Finance and Future Projects Director) opened the doors of Beech House in their family home, growing the Nursery to 100 children a day, before purchasing the site of another Nursery and transforming it into Willow House. They have two daughters at School, and a son who joins the children at Oak House.
When Oli and Rachel are not talking about work to each other, Rachel loves listening to Health and Wellbeing podcasts, cooking healthy meals and exercising – and takes genuine joy from making Photo Books.
